I think human nature is chaotic and can't be controlled; that culture drives design, not the other way around. The difference is subtle, but important.

I hope to make visible, what without me, may never have been seen.

Currently, most interested in the future of the interface and solving the inherent interoperability challenges in the design and function of complex systems.

Amik is a cross-disciplinary interaction and product leader. He currently works on the invention of novel interaction design patterns, experiences, and applications for Amazon and Audible with a focus on r&d, emerging technology, AI (Alexa Voice Design), and new ventures. Prior to Amazon, he worked to invent the future of healthcare as the R&D Lead at One Medical Group.

As a design and strategy leader, he has collaborated and worked on innovations with numerous companies and organizations such as Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, Microsoft, Google, O'Reilly Media, 1Life Healthcare, and the Mount Sinai Health System.

In his spare time, he enjoys photography and experimenting with enabling technologies. Amik holds a master degree in human-computer interaction from NYU Tisch and lives in NYC.
